By participating in Cuenca biking tours, you accept and acknowledge the following terms and conditions:

  1. Assumption of Risks: Participating in a biking tour involves inherent risks, including, but not limited to, physical injury, accidents, illness, or even death. You voluntarily assume all of these risks.
  2. Release of Liability: You release and exonerate Cuenca Bike Tours, its owners, employees, guides and agents from any liability for any injury, damage, loss or accident that may occur during the biking tour.
  3. Personal Responsibility: You are responsible for your own safety and well-being during the biking tour. You agree to follow all instructions provided by the guides and to use appropriate safety equipment at all times.
  4. Medical Conditions: You confirm that you do not have any medical condition that would prevent you from safely participating in a biking tour and that you are physically capable of carrying out the activity.
  5. Compliance with Rules: You agree to comply with all local laws and regulations of the biking tour, including respect for the environment and private property.
  6. Photography and Advertising: You authorize Cuenca Bike Tours to use any photograph or video taken during the biking tour for promotional and advertising purposes.
  7. Participants are responsible for any misuse, loss, damage, or penalties resulting from their failure to comply with the applicable rules during their use of the bicycle.
  8. Use of Cuenca’s Public Bike System: Participation in this tour involves the use of bicycles provided through Cuenca’s public bike system. Participants agree to use the bicycles responsibly and comply with the rules and conditions established by the public bike system operator. Participants are responsible for any misuse, loss, damage, or penalties resulting from their failure to comply with the applicable rules during their use of the bicycle.
  9. Safe Use of Public Bicycles: By participating, you agree to follow the guide’s instructions, comply with local traffic regulations, and take reasonable care of the bicycle while it is in your possession. Participants should feel comfortable riding a bicycle and be physically able to complete the route safely. For the safety of all participants, bicycles may only be used by the registered participant during the tour and may not be used under the influence of alcohol or drugs. Any accident, damage, loss, or mechanical issue must be reported to the guide immediately.
  10. Additional information about Cuenca’s public bike system and its operating rules is available upon request.
  11. Cuenca Bike Tours reserves the right to refuse participation or remove any participant whose behavior may compromise the safety of the group or the proper operation of the tour.

By booking our services you accept these terms and conditions, you acknowledge that you have read, understood and accepted this release of liability voluntarily and knowingly.
